Memorial service for Larry Lamar Pike, 65, will be Saturday, November 26, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with Brother Eddie Lindsey and Labron Nabors officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until time of service. Mr. Pike passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 in Baldwin County. Survivors include his special companion, Beth Mitchell Pike, of Piedmont; his children, Corey Pike (Amy), of Piedmont, Shannon Chasteen (Lamar) and Heather Kerr (Kevin), all of Spring Garden, Holli Masters (Brandon) and Tiffani Pike, all of Piedmont; two step-daughters, Lynn Lake (Mike) and Anna Grantham; 10 grandchildren, Dillon Maddox, Cale Chasteen, Hunter Pike, Madison Pike, Amber Maddox, Cole Chasteen, Brock Baker, Trevor Pike, Brindlee Masters and Holden Masters; three step-grandchildren, Miranda Casey, Alex Casey and Erin Hogue. Mr. Pike was a longtime resident of Piedmont and was retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was a horse ferrier, loved camping and fishing with his grandchildren, being outdoors on his porch and working with his tractor. He called each one of his children every day to keep in touch with them. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Stella Pike; three sisters, Betty Pike, Dorothy Smart and Nola Mae McCurdy; two brothers, Hugh Pike and Claude Pike; and a nephew, David Smart. www.thompsonfuneralhomepiedmont.com
