Funeral service for Larry "Big Daddy" Pearson, 69, of the Wellborn Community, will be Sunday, November 6, 2016, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on Saturday night from 6 until 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Pearson passed away on Thursday at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Sue Pearson; sons, Keith Pearson (Sabrina) and Bubba Pearson (Nikki); daughter, Shelly Duncan (Jared); daughter by choice, Danielle Hood (Eric); grandchildren, Dustin, Lana, Haven, Logan, Megan, Dalton, Piper, Katlynn, Julie, Dixi-Mari and Aaron, Cody; sister, Frankie Williams (Donnie); several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pearson was preceded in death by his grandson, Ayden Pearson; parents, Buster and Tootise Pearson; sisters, Betty Crowe, Joyce Winningham and his best friend, Mickie Pugh. Mr. Pearson was a native of the Wellborn Community. He was a graduate of Wellborn High School. Mr. Pearson was well known for his support for the Wellborn High School Football Team that he loved dearly. He was also very proud of all the football teams, girls softball teams and lady softball teams that he coached over the years.
