Funeral service for Lee Curtis George, 75, will be on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at noon at the Little Jerusalem A.F.M. Church of God with Bishop James Truss Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Mr. George's remains will arrive at the church two hours prior to his service. Mr. George passed away on April 27, 2015. Mr. George retired from Shelco Foundry in Jacksonville after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Little Jerusalem Male Chorus. Survivors include his wife, Eva George; children, Rhonda George, Kenneth (Janice) George, Tabatha George, Tony (Gloria) George, Nicholas George and Teresa Gaines, all of Lincoln; sisters, Estelle George, Yvella George, Violet Orr, Kathy Orr and Loran Fomby, all of Lincoln; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; mother-in-law, Louise Embry; godsons, aunts, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Houston George, Ozella Orr and Herman Orr; son, Carl Groce Jr.; siblings, Charles George, Gwen Lake and Alice Fomby.
