Memorial service for Leonard Davenport, 76, will be on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with Apostle Johnny Sandlin officiating. Mr. Davenport passed away on March 17, 2015. Survivor include the mother of his children, Jimmie Lou Phillips Goodwin; his children, Shequetha Heard, of Lincoln, Earl (Veronica) Davenport, of Colorado Springs, Colo., Debra (Philip) Hall, of Belleville, Ill., Pamela (Aundra) Johnson, of Atlanta, Ga., Connie Dark, of Ashland, Harold Grant of Alexander City; 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; siblings, Vera Coleman, of Anniston, Clyde Davenport, of Ashland, Paul (Dorothy) Davenport, of Kellyton, Ala., Charles (Pasty) Davenport and Jeanette Craig, all of Fayetteville, N.C., Ann L. Landers of Lineville; brothers-in-law, Charles (Johnnie Mae) Phillips, Floyd (Ellen) Phillips, Howard Phillips and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lon and Ada Mackey Davenport; siblings, Bertha Lauderdale, Ruth Akles, Mertis Williams, Arthur Davenport and Roy Davenport; grandchild, Kenya Davenport.
