Mrs. Letty Rodgers Hutcheson, 91, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 14, 2016. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at the Miller Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. C.O. Grinstead, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, will officiate. Visitation will be from 12-2 pm. today at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. Mrs. Hutcheson was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Fred Hutcheson; parents, Maggie and Jesse Rodgers; sisters, Sadie Patterson, Frances Smith and Betty Jean Morgan; brother, Alvin Rodgers. She was a faithful servant for her Lord Jesus Christ and devout member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 65 years. She was an inspiration to many as she taught the Junior Girls Sunday School Class for 30 years. She is survived by her children, Judith Gregg (Ronald), Judy Thomas, Roger Hutcheson (Patsy), Freida Emanuel and Robin Hutcheson, all of Oxford, Glenda Stewart (Charles), of Scottsboro, Jerre Hutcheson (Nancy), of Anniston; grandchildren, Bryan Black, Kasey Bullock, Ashley Whitaker, Erik Emanuel, Tyler Emanuel, Blaklie Blevins, Grant Hutcheson, Haley Gregg and Alexis Mogil, and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Sue Worthy and Barbara Silvey Mrs. Hutcheson was also a member of Cheaha Acres Women's Club since 1957 participating in many productive activities over the years to help better her community and people in need. Her caring attitude for others is to be commended.
