The funeral service for Mrs. Lillian M. Richardson, 95, will be at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, 2016, at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with Dr. Michael Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. Richardson passed away on July 4, 2016. Mrs. Richardson was born in Cleburne County. She had been a member of Wayside Baptist Church since November 1957 and had the distinction of being the oldest member of the church. She and her husband loved to camp and would take their grandchildren camping for a week each summer. Mrs. Richardson loved to cook and will be remembered for her coconut cakes and fried chicken. Mrs. Richardson was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She truly always put her family first. Mrs. Richardson is preceded in death by her husband of over 51 years, Ocie Richardson; a son-in-law, Jerry Morgan; her parents, Benjamin and Clara Gibbs; six sisters and four brothers, and her best friend, Maudie Estes. She is survived by her son, Wilson Richardson and his wife, Louise, of Southside; her daughters, JoAnn Parkman and her husband, Ralph, of Oxford, and Linda Morgan, of Oxford; a sister, Bennie McCaghren, of Ranburne; nine grandchildren, Tony Richardson and his wife, Denise, Mike Richardson and his wife, Laurie, Pamela Stack and her husband, Jeffrey, Randy Lovvorn, Tonya Sargent and her husband, Mike, Missy Lovvorn, Karon Skinner and her husband, Ray, Deborah Zowodny and her husband, Chris, and Mel Parkman and his wife, Pam; 12 great- grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Cameron Sargent, Jeffrey Stack, Dr. Justin Lovvorn, Chris Zowodny, Michael Richardson, Lucas Richardson, Eric Stack and Zach Johnston.
