Service for Lisa Watkins McKinney, 54, will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at 12 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry McGathy officiating. Burial will follow at Nances Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10 - 12 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. McKinney passed away Thursday, December 15, 2016. Survivors include her two children, David Andrew Muncher (Katie), of Jacksonville and April Amanda Thomason (Nick). of Oxford; two grandchildren, Carter Muncher and Madison Thomason; mother and step-father, Linda and Richard Parker, of Ft. Mitchell, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be Ed McKinney, Clark McKinney, Trey Hobbs, Austin Hobbs, Lucky King, Jake Atkinson, Dennis Pontero, and Austin Kilgore. Honorary pallbearers will be Mark McKinney and Jim Hobbs. Mrs. McKinney was born in Mobile, raised in Jacksonville, and was a resident of McIntosh for the past five years. She attended White Plains School and was active in the bowling league in Anniston. She enjoyed cooking, loved to help people, and was an avid Alabama fan.
