Funeral service for Lorenzo "Ren" Sistrunk, 63, will be on Monday, June 13, 2016, at 1 p.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Carlton Phillips officiating. Mr. Sistrunk's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Interment with military honors will follow in Jennifer Cemetery. Mr. Sistrunk passed away on June 7, 2016 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Sistrunk served in the United State Air Force and retired from Anniston Army Depot. He was a member of the American Legion Post 312 and USSC Social and Savings Club. Survivors include his wife, Mary Sistrunk; sons, Sirrell Sistrunk, Eric Anderson, Alonzo (Princella) Anderson, Dwayne Anderson and Carlos Anderson; daughter, Nikita Anderson; siblings, Albert Sistrunk and Vanessa (George) Holman; grandmother, Romania Garrett; in-laws, Eddie (Georgette) Anderson, Erskins (Brenda) Anderson, Willie Frank Anderson, Victor Anderson, Ray Anderson, Diane Anderson, Delois Willis and Emma Calloway; other relatives and friends.
