Although there was a lot of distance between us and a lot of lost years, I'll never forget my Uncle Danny. The times when I was able to take the long trip from upstate NY to Alabama, he would always greet me with open arms like I was there all along. I'll miss you Uncle Danny. My sympathy goes out to the rest of the family as well.

Danny,
Even though you were not my birth father you stepped up and adopted Vicki, Glenn and I. You were always very loving, caring and real towards me and never made me feel that I was nothing but your daughter. You were the best dad a girl could have and a wonderful grandfather to my children. I love you and will miss you.

Jackie and Family,

My thoughts, prayers and love are with you and your family. I am so very sad about the passing of Danny. It had been years since I had seen him until a few weeks ago when I bought carpet from him. It was so great seeing him. I hugged his neck and we talked for a long time about old times. I am so glad that I was able to talk to him. My heart is so heavy today for you and your family. Heaven just gained a very "Special Angel". Hold those precious memories close to your heart. I love you all.
