Funeral service for Ms. Louise Bannister, 79, will be held on Friday, September 9, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with Danny Harris officiating. The family will receive friends on the same day from 12:30 until the time of service. Ms. Bannister passed away after a valiant battle with lung cancer on September 5, 2016. She is survived by her daughter, Dana Hamilton (Stan); son, Dennis A. Cromer; sister, Edna Ward (BA 'Junior'), and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and close friends. Ms. Bannister is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie "Bud" and Mary Clay, and a sister, Elizabeth Carroll. Pallbearers will be Clifford Crumley, Don Hart, Gerald Carroll, Billy Ward, Bryce Boroughs and Mike Marshall. Ms. Bannister was a loving mother. She spend her life devoted to taking care of her son, Dennis, and her pets, Misty, The Million Dollar Dog, and her cat, Blue. She was loved deeply by her family and friends.
