Lovie Cotton (Pete) Bell, 100 years old, passed away May 28, 2016, at her residence. She was born November 7, 1915 to Rempson and Julie Ann Cotton, the fourth of five daughters; Alma Wright, Velma Wright, Dovie Pettis and Ann Hartman. The oldest member of Refuge Baptist Church. A member since 1927, for 89 ½ years. Service will be held today, May 31, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. Visitation will be today from 12:30 p.m. until service time. Burial in Hall Cemetery in Lincoln will follow. The Reverend Sammy Logon will officiate. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Horace Bell. She is survived by four children, June Anderson, of Lincoln, Jimmy Bell (Vivian), of Anniston, Kenneth Bell, of Wright City, Mo. and Elmer Bell (Deanie), of Lincoln; eleven grand-children; twenty great- grand-children; seven great-great-grand-children; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of loving family and friends. Mrs. Bell was a life-long resident of Lincoln and retired from Palm Beach Co. in 1978. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great- grandsons. A special thanks to Alacare Hospice for their loving care.
