A funeral service for Lucile Phillips, 90, will be held Monday, February 1, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Revs. Tim Phillips and William Cain officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until service time on Monday. Mrs. Phillips died Friday, January 29, 2016, at NHC Healthcare in Anniston. She is survived by three daughters, Mattie Luanne Gowens, of Weaver, Louise Norwood, of Huntsville and Connie Maddox, of Jacksonville; four grandchildren, Debbie Casados, Leisa Lovell, Denise Whitlock and David Maddox; 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great- great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Grant Morgan, Jason Ledbetter, Joey Fortenberry, Brandon Lawler, Shane Lawler and Greg Morgan. Mrs. Phillips was a resident of Calhoun County most of her life and was formerly employed at The Learning Tree. She was greatly loved by her family and friends.
