Funeral service for Lucius A. Burton "Lil' Luke", 65, will be on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at 4 p.m. at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry in the Russell H. Williams Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeffrey C. Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Burton passed away on March 18, 2017 at Stringfellow Memorial Hospital. A wake will be held this 6-8 this evening in the chapel. Mr. Burton graduated from Cobb Avenue High School in 1970. He retired from Blue Mountain Industries. Since his teenage years he worked with Lucius Funeral Home, Williams Funeral Home and Anniston Funeral Service. Survivors include his children, Chadwick (Tracey) Burton, Luneka (Eddie) Smith, Jovan (Kevin Taylor) Taylor, Jabor (Latoya Bowers) Taylor, Quinitra (Charles) Goodman, Ralphael (Kia) Graves, Christopher Caldwell, Angela Caldwell, and LaToya (Shawn) Green; grandchildren, Christina Burton, Taylor Burton, Edric Luke Smith, Ja'Shiya Taylor, Jaylin Taylor, Jabari Taylor, Makayla Caldwell, Ashton Armbrester, Kamari Green, and Kyndall Green; siblings, Sandra Tina Burt, Joe Joe Burton, and Mary Burton Hugley; other relatives and friends.
