Anniston - Funeral services for Lucy Edna Turley, 74, of Anniston, will be 1 p.m. Thursday, June 27, 2013, at Gray Brown-Service Chapel with the Rev. Randy Hagan and the Rev. Jim Kelly officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 - 1 p.m. Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Turley went home to be with the Lord on Sunday at her residence. Survivors include the love of her life for 56 years, Thomas Wayne Turley; sons, Ronald Wayne Turley (Kaye), of Anniston and Guy Radford Turley (Paula), of Ashland; grandchildren, Westley W. Turley, Nichalos W. Turley, Christian Hunter Turley, Matthew T. Turley, Russell T. Turley and Christin Camille Turley; great-grandchildren, Briteon Turley, Lilly Turley, Emma Turley, Callie Turley, Alexus Turley and Elizabeth Turley; brothers, Donald B. Hamilton and Gerald Radford Hamilton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Turley is preceded in death by her parents, Carl (Rat) and Margret Hamilton; sister, Martha Ann "Fuzz" Martin and brother, Carl "Ted" Hamilton. Pallbearers are Randy Martin, Ronald Broom, Robby Turley, Benji Turley, Ben Turley, Ben Martin, Jonathan Broom, Terry Lee Hamilton and Wendell Moles. Honorary pallbearers are grandsons, Westley Turley, Matt Turley, Rusty Turley, Hunter Turley and Nichalos Turley. Mrs. Turley was a native of Calhoun County and a resident of Wellborn. She was retired from Hagar Hinge Company and she loved Elvis. She taught line dance classes at Bynum Community Center and was in the first graduating class of Walter Wellborn High School where she was a cheerleader in 1955-57.
