Funeral services for Mrs. Marcella "Dot" Doss, 57, will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2013, at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. W.S. Fields officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Doss remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her services. Mrs. Doss died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lera Carmichael; her father, Ben Moon and a brother, George Carmichael. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Michael Doss and son, Demetrius (Charity) Doss Sr. of Anniston; four sisters, Elizabeth (Douglas) Glover of Birmingham, Frances (Bobby) Harris and Maryln (Reuben) Bullock both of Anniston, Shirley (Milton) Ragland of Talladega; eight brothers, Marvin Carmichael, Tommy Carmichael and Rodney (Cassandra) Carmichael all of Buffalo, New York, Curtis (Nadine) Maxwell, Ray (Shirley) Carmichael, both of Anniston, Carl ( Caroline) Madison of Columbus, Ohio, Ben (Virgie) Moon and Lorenzo (Donna) Moon, both of Munice, Indiana; four grandchildren, Demetrius Doss II, Kyndall Doss and Gavin Doss all of Anniston, Al., Lovedia Doss of Las Vegas, Nevada; one goddaughter, Laqulla (JAI) Williams Jones of Dallas, Ga.; a loving mother-in-law, Mrs. Eula Doss of Anniston; one brother-in-law, Anthony (Ora) Doss of Celera; special family friends, Mrs. Barbara (Joesph) Christopher, Mrs. Jackie (Wendall) Gibson, Mrs. Rose Lasley and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
