Funeral service for Marcus DeWayne Cunningham Sr., 22, will be today at 1 p.m. at Saks High School Gymnasium with the Rev. Byron Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mr. Cunningham passed away on June 26, 2015. Mr. Cunningham's remains will arrive in the Gym one hour prior to his service. Mr. Cunningham graduated from Saks High School in 2010. He was employed by Energy Absorption System, Inc., Pell City. Survivors include Annamarie Snow; his son, Marcus DeWayne Cunningham Jr. and Kenith Snow; his parents, Ericka (Ricky) English, Mark (Miranda) Cunningham; siblings, Ricky Reed, Donquavious Reed, Deon Sanders, George Moore, David (Tara) Almon, Mark Cunningham Jr., Dontavious Cunningham, Deondra Sanders and Antrinque Cunningham; grandparents, Betty (Conrad) Chapman, Rochell Cunningham, George (Robbie) Smith; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Angel English; great-grandparents, Johnnie Mae Graves, Essie Mae Boyd, Brownell Maul and Clarence Cunningham Sr.; uncle, Rickey Cunningham.
