Funeral service for Margaret Louise Hibbitts, 87, will be Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 2 p. m. at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with Brother Donnie Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Mrs. Hibbitts died Sunday at her home. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, James E. Hibbitts; sons, Richard Mannicvk (Marie), of Ohatchee, James D. Hibbitts (Sherry), of Weaver, and Timothy D. Hibbitts, of Alexandria; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lola M. Harcrow, of Tenn.; brother, Billy Jo Rowlett, of Ga., and sister-in-law, Wanda Rowlett, of Georgia. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen L. Ware; her parents, Joe and Edith Rowlett, and brother, Kenneth Rowlett. Mrs. Hibbitts was a local business owner and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Christ, associate member of VVA Chapter 502, Ladies Auxiliary Chapter 904 Veterans of Foreign War and a strong supporter of all veterans. Her hobbies included gardening, traveling, camping and sewing. The family wishes to thank special caregivers, Stephanie Hughes and Mel Kimball.
