Funeral service for Mrs. Margaret P. "MawMaw" Gann, 76 of Jacksonville will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary with Pastor Bo Honea, Rev. David Gann and Minister Tim Pruitt officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday night at the funeral home. Mrs. Gann passed away December 24, 2017. She is survived by her son, David (Ashley) Gann; grandchildren, Shane Smith, Tabatha (Rowety) Sims, Naomi Gann, William Chisolm, Jesse Chisolm; Kristorfer Chisolm; several great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Wilbur (Paula) Pruitt; Edith (Clarence) Mintz, Dr. Doyle Pruitt and Mike (Shelia) Pruitt; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gann is preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Gann; daughter, Paula Darlene Gann; her father, Rev. David Lamar Pruitt; mother, Flora Mae Pruitt and her brother, Wayne Pruitt. Pallbearers will be Brian Griffin, Mike Bailey, Mark Johnson, Eric Baker, Lynn "Pop" Edwards and Rowety Sims. Honorary Pallbearers will be Scottie Roberts and Naomi Gann. "MawMaw" was a retired nurse from Fort McClellan Hospital. She was a loving wife and mother who loved to read and take care of her family and her little dogs (Little Girl, Peanut and Precious).
