Funeral service for Margaret Snarr Bennett, 77, will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1217 Lenlock Lane, Anniston, on Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Bishop Wallace C. Price officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6-8 and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Mrs. Bennett returned home on June 27, 2014 after a three year battle with multiple myeloma. She is survived by her husband, Veldon J. Bennett; five children, Steve (Carole) Bennett, Doug (Tina) Bennett, Lori (Andrew) Adami, JaNae (Mike) Bozeman and Chris (Jennifer) Bennett; her brother, Gerald (Janeanne) Snarr; 19 grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; 5 nieces and 7 nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1217 Lenlock Lane, Anniston, AL 36206 or to the Kitty Stone Elementary Building Fund, 123 College Street, SW, Jacksonville, AL, 36265.
