Visitation for Margie B. Walters, 78, will be on Thursday, January 21, 2016, from 5 -7 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home. At 7 p.m. there will be closing remarks and a prayer by Dr. John White. Mrs. Walters passed away on Monday at UAB Hospital. Survivors include her husband, George Walters; daughter, Janeen Bond (Mike); sons, Doug Wright (Teresa) and Dennis Walters (Esther); daughter, Jessica Horn; step-son, Bart Denton; grandchildren, Rebecca Nickeas (Mike), Michael Bond (Kylie), Logan Garris (Hunter), Melissa Strubank (Ray), Chelsea Smith, Stephanie Walters, Douglas Walters; nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Walters was retired from Anniston Army Depot. She was a member of Meadow Brook Baptist Church.
