Margie Mathis, 79 went to be with our Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 23, 2014. She was already an angel to all that ever had the pleasure of knowing her in this life. She was a native of Cave Spring, Ga. but lived in Calhoun County most of her life. She is survived by daughters, Debbie Beaird (Lamar), of Oxford, Sue Moore, of Anniston, Kathy Jackson, of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Brad Moore, of Anniston, Brent Jackson, of Anniston & Kelli Beaird, of Birmingham; sisters, Deanie Oliver, of Anniston, Jody Roberts, of Louisville, Ky. Margie was a member of Westwood Baptist Church for many years. Pastor Rodney Clingan of Westwood Baptist will be officiating her service. Pallbearers will be Donnie Williams and Deacons of Westwood Baptist. She was retired from Midtown Outlet and worked for owners, Donnie & Frankie Williams for many years. A special recogniation to the Williams family that considered Margie as their family member. Service will be 2 p.m. today, October 26, 2014, at Miller Funeral Home.
