Funeral service for Mrs. Marjorie Lee Willett, 81, will be Friday, December 5, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Emmitt Roper, the Rev. Ricky Hudson and Dr. Mike Holcomb officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 11 a.m. - 1 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Willett passed away December 2, 2014 at her home in Weaver. Mrs. Willett is survived by her son, Jace (Yolanda) Willett; sister, Ina (Gary) Phillips; brother, Emmett P. (Lela) Roper; granddaughter, Jessica Willett. Mrs. Willett was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Manar Willett; parents, Dewitt C. Roper and Leona G. Roper-Gaddis; brothers, A.D. Roper, Eslin Roper, Frank Roper, Cleo Roper, Manuel Roper and Bill Roper; sister, Ola Welch. Pallbearers will be Lance Phillips, Mead Phillips, David Roper, Dewight Roper, Mike Roper and David Williamson. Mrs. Willett was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County; she was a member of West Weaver Baptist Church and attended Alexandria High School. Condolences may be left at www.chapelhillfh.com
