A memorial service for Mrs. Marsha Andrews Lumpkin, 62, will be at Community Congregational Holiness Church on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at 12 noon. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. Mrs. Lumpkin died on Wednesday, September 2, 2015, at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Rabian Lumpkin; her four children, Stanley (Amy) Andrews, Aleasha (Robert) Merriman, Kati (Duck) Mangum and Collin (Ciera) Lumpkin; 11 grandchildren, Shyann (Thomas), Patrick (Morgan), Ridge, Colby (Tamara), Ryan, Tanner, Riley, Mary-Kate, Sam, Brayleigh and Kinleigh; two great-grandchildren, Paisley and Bentley; two sisters, Mary (Ronnie) Lapier and Laura Murray; four brothers, Randy (Sharon) Murphy, Patrick Murphy, Barney (Sheila) Murray and Daniel (Becky) Murray; several nieces and nephews and her life-long best friend, Shelba Argo. Mrs. Lumpkin loved to spend time with her family. In her spare time she enjoyed shopping, cooking and sewing and spending time in her garden. Mrs. Lumpkin also liked making tables and wood working. She retired from nursing, working as an LPN, after 20 years. Mrs. Lumpkin was a loving wife, mother and "MawMaw" and will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her nurses with Alacare Home Health, Gloria Wright and Jennifer Woodard, for their continued care and support. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675. Mrs. Lumpkin was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Minnie Bell Wright; her parents, Herbert Murray and Frances Murphy; her late husband, William Knox Andrews and one brother, Stanley Murray.
