Anniston - A memorial service for Marshal Wayne Cannon, 36, of Anniston, will be Sunday, February 24, 2013, at 3 p.m. at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Rev. David Duke officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 24, 2013, from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Marshal passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013, at UAB Hospital. An Alabama native, Marshal graduated from Wellborn High School in 1995. He was a completely devoted and loving father to his son, Mason, and was always ready to help with his family, friends and neighbors. Marshal was an avid fisherman and hunter and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Marshal is preceded in death by a sister, Nicole Cannon McNair; grandmother, Natalie Alexander; and grandparents, Joseph and Doris Cannon. Survivors include his son, Mason Wayne Cannon; parents, Wayne and Ellen Cannon, of Anniston; sister, Vicki Cannon, of Valley Glenn, California; and nieces and nephews, Alexander McNair, Natalie Webb, and Nicholas Webb.
