Funeral service for Martha G. Sumlin, 70, will be on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Springhill Baptist Church where the Rev. Bobby Murphy, pastor, the Rev. Brenda Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Bynum Cemetery. Ms. Sumlin passed away on July 17, 2017. Ms. Sumlin's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. She graduated in 1964 from Calhoun County Training School. Survivors include her companion, Elmo Bickham; daughter, Shamekia (Rolano) Vincent; stepchildren, Denise (Dwight) Robinson, Tony Ervin, James Bickham; siblings, Lattie (Otis) Orr, Cecil (Charlotte) Porter, Michael Hamm, Marion (Pat) Hamm, Melvin (Tina) Porter; grandchildren, Iman, Iyana, Tiffany, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Blanche Hawkins Sumlins; son, Demetrius Sumlin; grandparents, Emma Hawkins, and Texanna Sumlin. Anniston Funeral Service Rev. Jeffrey C.
