Funeral service for Mary Elizabeth Williams, 80, will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Ike Stovall and Chris Clay officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams died Sunday at her residence. She is survived by her son, Terry (Della) Williams; by her granddaughter, Holly Williams; by her siblings, Donald (Kim) Williams, Judy (Jack) Stovall, Curtis (Beverly) Clay, Thelma Spears and Tommy (Cheryl) Clay. Her nephews will serve as Pallbearers. She was a lifelong resident of Calhoun County and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Williams; by her parents, Whit and Ruby Clay; by sisters, Dorothy Williams, Doris McCulley, Margaret Moses and by her brothers, Jimmy Clay and Wayne Clay.
