GRAVITT Anniston- The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Frances Gravitt, 81, of Anniston will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Reverend Milton Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Eulaton First Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Gravitt passed away on December 10, 2017 at NE Alabama Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Gravitt was a native of Calhoun County. She was a retired switchboard operator for Ford Motor Company. Mrs. Gravitt loved her family and spending as much time as possible with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed travelling and tending her garden. Mrs. Gravitt was also a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church. Mrs. Gravitt is preceded in death by her husband, George Wallace Gravitt, a son, Barry Gravitt; her parents, Cleo and Ross Chandler; a brother, Ross Chandler; and a great grandson, Chandler Conner. She is survived by three daughters, Norma Cleveland and her husband, Dennis, of Ardmore, Melissa Kane and her husband, Michael, of Anniston, and Vivian Roberts of Anniston; a son, Bruce Gravitt of Anniston; eleven grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Snead of Kentucky; a brother, Ed Chandler and his wife, Kay, of Anniston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
