Funeral service for Mary Frances Waits, 89, will be 1 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2016, at Gray Brown-Service with the Rev. Glenn Bonds and the Rev. Donnie Kitchens officiating. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 5 - 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Waits passed away Friday morning at Columbiana Health and Rehab. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia Gail Nolen (Thomas); son, Charles Raymond "Ray" Waits Jr. (Freida); grandchildren, Alesha Smith (Jeff), Charles Raymond "Charlie" Waits III, Joshua Crocker Waits (Gibian) and Jonathan Matthew Kennedy; great-grandchildren, Hannah Gayle Smith, Emma Victoria Smith, Charles Raymond "Chase" Waits IV, Jane Frances Waits and William Crocker Waits; brothers, Jessie Aaron Taylor (Ann) and John Howard "Buddy" Taylor (Corrine); sister, Leanne Taylor Turner (Derl) and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Waits is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raymond Waits Sr.; sisters, Alma Lou Pitts and Flo Ann Ford and brother, Harvey Samuel Taylor. Mrs. Waits was a longtime resident of Anniston and part of the Glen Addie Community. She was a member of Glen Addie Baptist Church. Mrs. Waits was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed. Online Condolences may be made at
