Funeral service for Mrs. Melissa Williams Bledsoe, 48, will be held 1 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016, at New Hope Baptist Church in Jacksonville with Pastor Roosevelt Parker, officiating. Burial will follow in Edgemont Cemetery. Public viewing will be today from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a wake from 7 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include her sons, Jontavious Bledsoe, of Rainbow City, Jeremy Bledsoe and John Bledsoe III, both of Gadsden; mother, Mary L. Williams, of Jacksonville; one brother, Michael Williams, of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; one sister, Teresa Williams, of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Jontavious Bledsoe Jr and Jaceon Bledsoe, both of Rainbow City; father-in-law, John C. Bledsoe Sr., mother-in-law, Gloria Bledsoe, both of Wedowee; sister-in-law, Katina Bledsoe, of Lineville; brothers-in-law, Morris Bledsoe (Catina), of Anniston, Richard T. Bledsoe (Vanesa), of Wedowee and Bobby McCurry, of Wedowee; niece, Shashanna I. Williams, of Ind.; nephews, Christian Williams, of Ind., Zhane S.
