Funeral service for Melvin Brewster, 63, will be on Monday, December 21, 2015, at noon at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry with Pastor Claudine Crumpler officiating. Interment will follow in Jacksonville City Cemetery. Mr. Brewster passed away December 15, 2015 at Regional Medical Center. Mr. Brewster retired from the United States National Guards and Jacksonville State University. Survivors include his mother, Dorsalean Maddox; mother of his children, Peggy Brewster; sons, Aundrey (Verdestine) Brewster, Davey (Taknisha) Brewster and Melvin (Poodie) Beason; daughter, Melveta (Abner) Isep-Garcia; siblings, Margie (Jerry) Cox, Myra (Mitchell) Coleman, Clara (Bernard) Bradford, Ida Mae (Ramon) Guzman, Laura Barlow, Shannon Maddox, Marvel (Laura) Brewster, David Maddox and Timothy (Marie) Maddox; 9 grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
