Service for Melvin "Super Jack" Orr, 58, will be on Sunday, November 29, 2015, at 1 p.m. at the Perry Thomas Ministry formerly Holy Hill Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ where Elder Gary Smith is pastor and Elder Wayne Verges officiating. A wake will be this evening 6 - 8 p.m. at the Anniston Funeral Service Outreach Ministry Chapel Interment will follow in Perry Thomas Church Cemetery. Mr. Orr passed away on November 23, 2015 at St. Vincents Hospital in Pell City. Mr. Orr's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to his service. Mr. Orr was a member of Perry Thomas Ministry and served as Usher. He was employed at Pell City School System and I-20 Truckstop. Survivors include his children, Patrice (Brad) Rivers, LaQuisha McKinney, Christie Orr, Meldricka McKinney (Kerry), Gabrielle Groce, Jonathon (Shericka) Orr; he also raised Jeremy Weed and J'Quil Weed; 17 grandchildren; siblings, Doris J. Turner, Ruby M. (William) Miller, Wardean Orr, Nola (Michael) Beavers, Joann (David) White, Mablean Orr, Ruby Caldwell and other relatives and friends.
