Funeral service for Merlin E. Tucker, 84, will be 2 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015, at Gray Brown-Service with the Rev. Jerry Irwin and the Rev. T.C. Tolbert Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at DeArmanville United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Tucker went to be with the Lord Wednesday evening, April 22, 2015. Survivors include his children, Kenny Tucker (Becky), Cindy Ray (William), Donnie Tucker (Beverly) and Greg Tucker (Susan); grandchildren, Randy Snead (Tracy), Kevin Tucker (Sarah) and Laura Tucker; great-grandchildren, Dalton Snead and Ava Grace; brother, Harry Hurley; sisters, Kathy Becker and Doris Treat. Mr. Tucker is preceded in death by his wife Betty Tucker and sister, Wanda Battles. Mr. Tucker served in the U.S. Military and was a disabled veteran. He retired from the U.S. Navy.
