Beloved husband and father, Michael P. Yoke, 83, of Anniston, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 12, 2016. Originally from Bradford, Pennsylvania, the family moved to Anniston in the early 1970's for Mike's job at M&H Valve. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carmella Accurso and Sebastian Yoke; sisters, Parmenia Coskey and Rose Cronin; brother, Russell Yoke. He kept in touch with his sisters in Bradford, Pennsylvania, Tatty Fearn and Josephine Smades. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janet Yoke; daughter, Kathleen Klueh (Kevin); sons, Michael Yoke (Cynthia Gates), Daniel Yoke (Jenifer Vernon), David Yoke (Amy McIlwain); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mike served as a trustee at the Elks Lodge for several years and was seen there almost daily. He served in the Korean War. He was a Meals on Wheels volunteer with his wife, Janet. He worked past retirement from M&H Valve as a consultant. A visitation was held on Monday, February 15, 2016 from 12-1 p.m. with mass starting at 1 p.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
