A memorial service for Mr. Michael Wayne Hughes, 61, will be at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at Faith Temple Christian Center, 831 Alexandria Road SW, Jacksonville, AL 36265. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mr. Hughes passed away on November 20, 2014. Mr. Hughes was born and raised in Anniston and graduated from Anniston High School. He attended services at Our Father's Arms. He worked at the National Federation of Independent Businesses for many years and was an avid Alabama fan. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Mr. Hughes is preceded in death by his parents, Enoch and Sarah Hughes. Mr. Hughes is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Fortenberry and her husband, Aaron, of Leesburg and Erin Hughes, of Anniston; grandchildren, Skye Fortenberry, Shiloh Fortenberry and Carter Armstrong; two brothers, Terry Hughes and Ronald Hughes, both of White Plains and the mother of his children, Jan Hughes.
