A funeral service for Mildred Louise Ball Young, 88, will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. at K. L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Rev. Brian Williams, Ed Goodwin and Kevin Goodwin officiating. Burial will be in Chulafinnee Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends today March 3, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Young died Sunday, March 1, 2015 at her home. She is survived by her three daughters, Barbara Clark and her husband, Allen, of Anniston, Genell Young, of Anniston and Deborah Clevenger and her husband, Charles, of Eastaboga; six grandchildren, Lucky Clark, Ed Goodwin, Kevin Goodwin, Tamba (Dennis) Freeman, Tina (Scott) Mills and Tracy (Jeff) Morton; 11 great- grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild, a brother, Roy Ball, of Faulkville, Ala. Pallbearers will be Lucky Clark, Ed Goodwin, Kevin Goodwin, Austin Goodwin, James Clark, Kameron Goodwin, Kaden Goodwin and Trent Clevenger. Mrs. Young was a native and resident of Anniston for most of her life and a member of the Eulaton First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Young; her parents, Samuel Andrew and Georgia Ann Ball; three brothers, Melvin Ball, Thelton Ball and Junior Ball.
