Morgan Jackson Bearden passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon, July 21, 2016, in Anniston. As per his wishes, a private family graveside service was held at Anniston Memorial Gardens. A memorial to celebrate Mr. Bearden's life will be announced at a later date. Survivors include daughters, Ginger Crowe (Sonny), of Anniston and Kimberly Bearden (Benton Byrd), of Ranburne; sons, Steven J. Bearden (April), of Alexandria, Phillip George (Karen), of Piedmont and Jeffrey George (Tracey), of Fyffe; mother, Florine Bearden, of Weaver; sister, Joan James, of Weaver; brothers, Garry Bearden (Janet) and Jimmy Bearden (Vanessa), of Weaver; grandchildren, Ashley Brown Thrasher (Chris), Bradley Brown (Kelli), Jessica Bearden, Jacob Bearden, Jonathan Upton (Amberele), Zachary Upton, Katie George, Karie George, Logan George, Alexa George and Christopher Bearden; great-grandchildren, Sunny Brown, Elliott Thrasher, Obadiah Upton, Tristian Pruitt and Steven Pruitt. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eunice Mae Bearden; father, Curtis Bearden; brother, Melvin Bearden; son, John Christopher Bearden and granddaughter, Hannah Kay Bearden. Mr. Bearden was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend to all who knew him. He loved his family unconditionally. He was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his life and upon retirement did small engine repair. His family loved him very much and will miss him forever but take great comfort in knowing he is with his "Skeeter" fishing in Heaven's river.
