Funeral service for Myrtis Davis Gilpin, 91, of Anniston, Ala. will be Friday, February 20, 2015, 2 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. Dr. Rick Reaves will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Forestlawn Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Gilpin passed away on Monday at Goldenliving Center in Oxford. Survivors include her special nieces, nephews, Steve and Bonnie Gilpin, Jimmy and Gail Wilson; several other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Gilpin was a native of Clay County. She was a graduate of Bibbgraves High School in Millerville. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church. One of her great joys was rising Boston Terriers.
