A memorial service for Nadyne May Yates, 79, will be Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Webster's Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Mike Yates officiating. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Mrs. Yates died Thursday, January 29, 2015, at Regional Medical Center in Anniston. She is survived by two daughters, Pauline Maye and her husband, Kenneth and Terri Buchanan; a son, Jerry Yates; two grandsons, Brian Maye and Brandon Maye; five great-grandsons, Jordan Maye, Kalani Maye, Braydon Maye, Jack Maye and Carter Maye; three sisters, Mildred Sanders, of S.C., Alice Bellefeuille, of Hawaii and Jeanette Tibbs, of Texas; a brother, James Don Lim Jr., of Nevada; two sisters-in-law, Geneva Smith, of Wadley and Vida Childs, of LaGrange, Ga. and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Yates was a cook and manager of several restaurants in Jacksonville in the past and retired from JSU in 2000. She was a member of Webster's Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Yates; a grandson, Cole Yates; a son-in-law, William Buchanan and two nephews, Paul Bellefeuille Jr. and Jeffrey Jay.
