Anniston - Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Lucille Yates Brady, 87, of Anniston, will be today at 11 a.m. at K.L. Brown Memory Chapel in Golden Springs with the Reverend Dr. Mack Amis officiating. Interment will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. The family received friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and will receive friends again one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Brady passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Noland Hospital of Anniston. Mrs. Brady was born in Woodland and was a 1943 graduate of Woodland High School. She retired from the Anniston Army Depot after 20 years of service with the federal government. She had also worked for the Calhoun County Commissioner of Licenses from 1967-1974. Mrs. Brady was a faithful, longtime member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church and the Elatus Sunday school class. All the angels in Heaven rejoice the entry of Mrs. Brady into God's Kingdom. She exemplified the true beauty of God's creation and will be missed by her loving family and many loyal friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Edna Yates; her husband, Robert Ernest Brady; her siblings, Lawrence Yates, Esker Yates, Lowell Yates, Billy Yates, Bernice McManus, Roy Yates and Ray Yates; her daughter-in-law, Teresa D. Brady and her great-granddaughter, Skyler D. Brady. Mrs. Brady is survived by a daughter, Delores Brady Busenlehner and her husband, Dan, of San Antonio, Texas; her son, Daniel Brady and his wife, Terri, of Oxford; grandchildren, Laurie Busenlehner Darilek and her husband, Craig, of San Antonio, Texas, Brian Busenlehner and his wife, Christie, Mark Brady, of Maylene, Ala., and Angela Austin and her husband, Colt, of Anniston and great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Darilek, Avery Darilek, Brady Busenlehner and Carter Busenlehner, all of San Antonio, Texas, Cade Brady, of Maylene, Ala., and Caleb Austin, of Anniston. Pallbearers will be Brian Busenlehner, Mark Brady, Craig Darilek, Colt Austin, George Brady, Mike Brady, Pat Brady and Kenneth McCord. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Parker Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 2104, Anniston, AL 36202 or to the Anniston Fellowship House, 106 East 22nd Street, Anniston, AL 36201. The family wishes to thank Dr. Almena Free of Anniston Medical Clinic for her loving care and also to the staff of Noland Hospital at RMC for the excellent care and comfort provided during the final days of her life.
