Mrs. Stephens passed away on September 29, 2014 at her cabin home. Mrs. Stephens was born January 27, 1937 in Anniston to Hurshel and Lucy Hollaway. She graduated from Anniston High School in 1954, where she was a majorette in the band. While raising her four boys, she worked at her sister's restaurant, Betty's BBQ, for many years. Naomi was loved by the many customers at Betty's BBQ. That's where she met, fell in love with and married the love of her life, Clay Stephens, in 1986. Na and Clay's ministry for God was served at Golden Living Nursing Home in Oxford, where they not only led the service with singing and teaching, but also had a great love for the residents. Mrs. Stephens is survived by her husband, Clay Stephens; a daughter, Anna (Roger) Alexander; her sons, Jerry (Donna) Harmon, Scott Harmon, Bruce (Sherry) Harmon and Keith (Cindy) Harmon; grandchildren, Nicki (Josh), Casey, Devan, Ethan, Audrey, Spencer, Bryant, and Kayla; two great- grandchildren, Cain and Gunnar; two sisters, Betty Walker and Martha (Smokey) Patrick; a brother, John (Joan) Holloway and many nieces, and nephews. Pallbearers will be Sion Pruett, Stan Pruett, Shane Pruett, Robert A. Patrick, Micah Best and Robby Kibbey. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (www.stjude.org).
