Funeral service for Ms. Nellie Mildred Traywick, 97, will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with her nephew, Eddie Houston, officiating. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on the same day. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Ms. Traywick passed away on November 18, 2015 at NHC Healthcare. She is survived by her children, Betty Houston Findley, Jane Houston Hughes, Ina Houston McCullars and Timothy D. Houston; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and a sister, Martha Stovall Law. She is preceded in death by parents, the Rev. and Mrs. Thomas DeWitte Stovall; husbands, M.E. Houston and Jim Traywick; three brothers and five sisters; grandson, Jerry Mark MCullars. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Ms. Traywick was a lifelong member of Bethlehem Baptist Church where she was the pianist for many years. She loved working in her yard. She was a wonderful seamstress and a wonderful cook.
