Noah Timothy Sartin, 13, of Oxford, Alabama received his ultimate healing Wednesday May 13, 2015, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 18, 2001 in Ft. Payne, Alabama to Eric Sartin and Metha Dover and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Delta. Anyone who met Noah couldn't help but be inspired and uplifted by his love for Southern Gospel Music. Noah is survived by his mother, Metha (Steve) Dover, of Oxford; his father, Eric Sartin, of Ringgold, Ga.; grandparents, Wayne and Teresa Wynn, of Ider, Ala.; Kay Sartin, of Ringgold, Ga., and Marvin and Lucille Dover, of Anniston; sister, Kaylee Sartin and brothers, Brandon and Jacob Dover, all of Oxford; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gail Hancock Wynn and his grandfather Gary Sartin. Pallbearers will be Jay Peoples, Tony Sheppard, Leon Bradley, Jason Stancil, John O'Daniel and Thomas McWorter. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Home on today May 15, 2015 from 4-9 p.m. A celebration of Noah's life will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1521 Abel Road in Delta, Ala. with the Rev. Charles Stone, the Rev. David Cornett and the Rev. Allen Layton officiating. The body will lie in state 2 hours prior to the service. Interment will be at the adjoining cemetery.
