Funeral service for Norma Kay Buford, 81, will be today Tuesday, October 27, 2015, 11 a.m. at Anniston Bible Church. The Rev. Bob St. John and Dr. C.O. Grinstead will be officiating. Burial will follow in the Coldwater Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on today from 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Mrs. Buford passed away on Sunday at her residence. Survivors include her husband, Sidney E. "Gene" Buford Sr.; daughter, Melissa Ford (Glenn); son, Sidney Buford Jr. (Tammy); sisters, Reba Robinson, Ann Owens, Juanita Smith, Linda Bridges, Wanda Elkourie; grandchildren, Amanda Ford, Sarah Ford, Ed McCullars; great-grandchild, Mason McCullars; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jesse Polk, Steve Chapman, Tim Brittain, Phillip Smith, Seth Tiffner and Doug Swain. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Anniston Bible Church. Mrs. Buford was a resident of Coldwater. She was a member of Anniston Bible Church. Mrs. Buford was very active in the music programs in every church that she attended. She was preceded in death by her father, William L. Skinner; mother, Inez Skinner; brothers, Deward Skinner, Mac Skinner; sisters, Ruby Nell Coley and Llewellyn Dabbs .
