Norma Louise Blankenship Wooley, 85, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015, at NHC. She was born in Ragland, April 19, 1929 and graduated from Ragland High school in 1947. She attended drafting school and worked as an architectural draftsman for over 30 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer E. Wooley; parents, Alex and Mildred Blankenship; brother, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Lamar Blankenship and brother-in-law, Lamar Daffron. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dede and Dan Bradley, of Anniston; grandsons, Ryan Bradley, of Chelsea and Kevin (Andrea) Bradley, of Gainesville, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Samuel, Justin and Reagan Bradley; sister, Edna Earle Daffron, of Ragland; sister-in-law, Janice Blankenship, of Monroeville; aunt, Tommie Sue Milam, of Demopolis; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a member of the Betta View Hills Church of Christ in Oxford for over 40 years. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 14 at 11 a.m. from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Pell City. Visitation will be from 9:30 until the service time. Burial will be at the Methodist Cemetery in Ragland. John Ross will officiate. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the Betta View Hills Church of Christ Building Fund, P.O. Box 3323, Oxford, AL 36203 or to the National Parkinson's Foundation, Inc., 200 SE 1st Street, Ste 800, Miami, Florida 33131. Kilgroe Funeral Home - Pell City will direct the service.
