Funeral service for Odessa Reese "Bug", 89, formerly of Anniston, will be on Saturday, March 18, 2017, at 11 a.m. at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Frederick Allen is pastor, and the Rev. William Fields will be officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Reese passed away on March 13, 2017 at Memorial Hospital Chattanooga. A wake will be held 5-7 this evening. Mrs. Reese's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Mrs. Reese retired from South Trust Bank. Survivors include her children, Althea (Robert) Gillins, Mary (Henry) Moten, Lamar (Marie) Reese and Marvin (Beatrice) Reese; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marion Fitten; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by parents Clinton Sr. and Emma Fitten; husband, James Lewis Reese; children, Patricia Haynes, Linda Bennett, Julia Calloway, Anthony Reese; siblings, Bernice Pearson, Clinton Fitten Jr., Morris Fitten, and friend, Lehman Rudolph.
