Jacksonville - Ola Catherine Ferguson Parker, 86, died Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Jacksonville Health and Rehab. She is survived by her children, Ann Wohl (Jim) of Smyrna, Ga., Brock Parker (Lynne) of Montgomery, and Debra Thomas (Tracy) of Weaver; grandsons, Jeff Wohl (Carolyn) of Smyrna, Ga. and Tim Wohl (Jennifer) of Costa Mesa, Calif.; great-grandchildren, Parker Wohl and Bonnie Wohl of Smyrna, Ga.; special niece, Glenda Ryan (Bill) and her children, Shanon and Marcia; many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald H. Parker; parents, Harris Brock Ferguson and Nannie Ferguson Nowlin; brother, Gordon (Pete) Ferguson; sisters, Myrtle White and Gladys Key. After traveling with her husband Gerald, while he was in the Air Force, they were in business together for many years. She was known for loving family and friends. Her unselfishness was demonstrated by her actions and love for all she came into contact with. A private graveside service was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Patient Activity Fund of Jacksonville Health and Rehab or God's Light Youth Choir of Smyrna First United Methodist Church, Smyrna, Georgia.
