A funeral service for Mr. Oliver Cleveland Graves, 96, will be Monday, December 29, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with the Rev. Chris Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 - 4 p.m. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Mr. Graves went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, December 22, 2014. He is survived by two sons, Larry Graves, of Peck, Idaho and Wayne (Pam) Graves, of The Woodlands, Texas; two sisters, Dimple McGriff and Genell Gardner, both of Cullman; one brother, J.C. Graves of Cullman; two grandchildren, Amber Graves and Marshall Graves and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be members of the family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the First Baptist Church of Williams. Mr. Graves was a member of the First Baptist Church of Williams and a WWII veteran. His hearts desire as a Christian was to be found faithful. Mr. Graves was a kind and loving father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Graves; one brother, Edward Graves and two sisters, Ruby Wilson and Ola Kress. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Williams Building Fund, 5579 Nisbet Lake Road, Jacksonville, AL 36265.
