Ozeal Lipham Smith, 88, died Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Lineville Nursing and Rehab. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Philip Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Clay County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today, March 7, 2017 from 5-7 p.m. Survivors include, daughter, Ruby Beezley, of Heflin; sons, David (Tammy) Lipham, of Birmingham, Mark Lipham, of Rockford, Paul (Sandy) Lipham, of Anniston; sisters, Reba Horn, of Lineville, Dot Carmack,of Talladega, Annie Latham, of Lineville; grandchildren, John David Lipham, Nikki (Brian) Rinehard, Jonathan Whiten, Nancy (Jerry) Burnell, Mike Beezley, Katelin Adams, Jessica Adams, Ashley (Jason) Honnol, and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Beezley, John David Lipham, Michael Horn, Jamie Horn, Scott Latham, and Edward Latham. Mrs. Smith was a native of Clay County and a resident of Cleburne County most of her life. Ozeal was a member of Heflin Baptist Church and retired from Crown-Tuff Mfg. Co. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Cleveland Lipham and Calvin H. Smith; three sisters; four brothers; two step-children, Morris Smith and Carolyn Whiten, and one grandson, Chad Beezley. Dryden Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
