A Celebration of life service for Pamela Gwin Cooper Pinkard, 55, will be Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at 1 p.m. at West Side Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Phillips officiating. Burial will be held in Forestlawn Gardens in Anniston at a later date. Mrs. Pinkard died on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at her residence. She is survived by her husband, Richard Pinkard, of Jacksonville; two daughters, Rachel (Clara) Pinkard, of Lawton, Okla. and Sarah Pinkard, of Jacksonville; her mother, Jean Cooper, of Anniston; her sister, Melinda (Cherry Thomas) Cooper; her bother, Gene (Vickie) Cooper, of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Pinkard was a member of West Side Baptist Church and substituted at Kitty Stone Elementary. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking trips with her family and loved going to the beach. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to West Side Baptist Church. If you wish to send flowers, the family has requested silk arrangements only.
