Funeral service for Mrs. Patricia Ann Arnold, 56, will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Benefield Funeral Home in Ashland with the Rev. Les Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Millerville Community Cemetery. Mrs. Arnold passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham. She was a native of Montgomery and former resident of Clay County but had lived for over 20 years in Coldwater, Alabama. Patricia had worked at the Anniston Army Depot and at Fort McClellan as a computer systems analyst and technician. She was a graduate of Bibb Graves High School and Gadsden State Community College and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Patricia settled in Horn's Valley with her husband, Neal, in 2012. Mrs. Arnold is survived by her husband, Neal H. Arnold; son, Nicholas O'Neal Arnold (Ashley); three grandchildren, Abby, Alexus and Nicholas Arnold, all of Horn's Valley; her mother, Polly H. Pitts; sister, Debbie Strickland, both of Millerville; two nieces, Jenna Runge and Paula Fetzer; four nephews, Brett Strickland, Johnathan Arnold, Josh Arnold and Ben Bokoch. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Douglas Pitts; one son, Stephen Thomas Arnold; one sister, Lisa Pitts Kimble and one niece, Laura Strickland. Pallbearers will be Bruce Kimble, Adam Jones, Richard Burnette, Johnathan Arnold, Josh Arnold and Ben Bokoch.
